One of the many questions I missed on this test was number 12: Group storming is the the period when______.A) Brainstorming occurs
B) Conflict erupts
C) Groups come together
D) Difficult members are expelled from the group
It was easy to cross out D as the correct answer because it seemed to me to be just an outright silly answer. Then I got to the heart of the question meaning looked at what it said, "Group storming." Surly that is an early on stage, but how early was it? I decided that because the word storming was actually in A that it must be the answer, but alas nothing is ever as it seems.
The Bruce Tuckman Model is what this question is based off of (the book adding the Adjourning part). In the beginning it is forming where groups coming together making C out of the question. The next part, the part we are trying to focus on, storming comes in and LeadershipJot.com tells us that it is the point where conflict occurs between groups. This shows us that the true answer is B and not A.
