Why is it that women's basketball at both the collegiate and professional level are not even relatively close to being equal to men's basketball. Women are just as equally talented, and in my eyes, more hardworking, so why is this inequality is occuring? I can give you two main reasons; one reason is because women's basketball ticket sales are ridiculously low, and their audience turnout is an embarrassment.
The only way that we can change the game of basketball into being equal, is to have a larger fan base for our females, and it starts with ALL OF YOU!
Natasha, this is great and you are the perfect person to speak about this topic. I'd recommend sharing personal stories about how important basketball and playing for your school's women's team is to you so that your audience can not only relate but empathize and be persuaded.
